Cookie policy

The site sets no cookies until you choose. Here is everything it can store on your device.
Your choice
The banner on your first visit asks whether we may use Google Analytics. “Reject” and “Accept” are equally easy, and nothing is set until you pick one. To change your mind, use the button below or “Cookie settings” at the foot of any page. Choosing “Reject” after “Accept” deletes the Analytics cookies.
What the site stores
| Name | Set by | Why | How long |
|---|---|---|---|
cec-consent | This site, in your browser’s local storage | Remembers your Accept or Reject, so the banner does not ask again. Strictly necessary, so it needs no consent. | Until you clear your browser’s site data |
_ga | Google Analytics, only after “Accept” | Tells one visitor apart from another, without saying who they are. | 2 years |
_ga_TYSDQVRKM0 | Google Analytics, only after “Accept” | Keeps track of the current visit. | 2 years |
The mailing list form sends your email address to Mailchimp, whose signup page sets cookies of its own. The privacy policy says more about both services.
You can also block or delete cookies in your browser’s settings. The site works the same without them.
